Ís (Ice)

Icelandic glacial features can express the complexity of ice despite, to many, it being regarded as merely the solid manifestation of H2O.  The impact of Iceland’s geological history is also revealed within the substance as ice subsumes the inert volcanic exhalations and re-presents them as part of its own physical presence. The photographs in this carousel are taken from a ‘zine that I have self-published.
