In early July 2025 we thoroughly enjoyed a ‘first time’ foray (for us) to Finland. A twelve night trip, with an extra night added because of a 24-hour strike affecting our airline, saw us take in three different cities: Helsinki, Tampere and Turku – Three Cities in Finland.
In September 2025 we visited the south west of the United States on a road trip across the Colorado Plateau (taking in the National Parks of Zion and Bryce Canyon and the Navajo Nation sights of Monument Valley and Canyon de Chelly) before tasting a slice of Route 66 as it runs through Arizona. We then headed into California to visit Death Valley and ended the trip with an urban fix in Salt Lake City. Posts on that trip are in preparation.
